HOW I WORK
Choosing a Celebrant is no small task. It’s important to find someone you trust to share your story and to set the right tone for your ceremony.
I believe the best ceremonies are those that appear relaxed and natural but are backed by hours of preparation and organising. I’m a confident public speaker with an excellent stage presence, but I never leave anything up to chance.

STEP ONE: COFFEE DATE
We’ll start with a free, no-obligation meeting (ideally over coffee!) to discuss your wishes. This is your chance to get to know me a bit better, and my chance to swoon over another engagement story (I never tire of hearing these).
STEP TWO: CREATING THE CEREMONY
If I’m the right Celebrant for you, I’ll start preparing for your big day right away. First, I’ll provide you with a detailed information guide including inspiration for music, vows, rituals, and staging. Then, once you’ve sent me your notes and inspiration, I’ll start crafting the ceremony words.
STEP THREE: COLLABORATION AND FINE-TUNING
No two couples are the same, so each ceremony is unique and different. Together, we will plan and create your ceremony so that it reflects you as a couple. I will be there to support and guide you every step of the way until you’re 110% happy with the ceremony plan.
STEP FOUR: LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
Ironically, the last thing you’ll want to think about when planning a wedding is all the legal obligations! Don’t worry – I’ll take care of all the legal requirements, including the NOIM and registering all the paperwork.
STEP FIVE: REHEARSAL
As the big day nears, we’ll rehearse the ceremony together to calm everyone’s nerves and make sure everybody knows where to stand, how to walk, and feels comfortable in their role.
STEP FIVE: YOUR BIG DAY
You are my only focus on your big day. I only take one booking per day because I really care about making your day unforgettable.
I’ll liaise with other service providers and suppliers to make sure your ceremony – and the moments leading up to it – are seamless and stress-free.
When the special time arrives, I will deliver your ceremony with substance, dignity, meaning, and care. Your ceremony will be full of joy, laughter, and love, and create memories to last a lifetime.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
I can also…
• stay on as your MC for the reception for an additional cost
• supply a portable PA system for weddings of up to 100 guests
• deliver the entire ceremony (or parts of it) in Afrikaans
I service the Sydney metropolitan region and I will travel to your special day elsewhere in Australia at an additional cost.
